Counseling for when life looks fine on the outside, but doesn’t feel that way on the inside.

I offer virtual counseling for teens and adults in Michigan

You may be managing work, school, relationships, or family life, yet still feel overwhelmed, burned out, anxious, or not quite yourself. Counseling can offer a place to slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and find a steadier way forward.

HOW I CAN HELP

I work with teens and adults who are navigating relationship difficulties, grief, and significant life transitions. I welcome clients with ADHD or neurodivergent traits as well, whether formally diagnosed or not.

I also have a particular interest in supporting women through menopause, health changes, surgery and recovery, and the emotional and identity shifts that can come with these experiences.

What Therapy Is Like With Me

My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. Together, we'll slow down to understand what you're experiencing, notice patterns or pressures that may be weighing on you, and find practical ways to move through life with more steadiness and clarity.

Christina Armbruster, MA, LLPC

I’m Christina Armbruster, a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed School Counselor in Michigan. I bring a calm, thoughtful, and genuine presence to my work, and I believe feeling comfortable with your therapist matters. My goal is to create a space where you can speak openly, feel understood, and explore what’s happening without pressure to have everything figured out.

My background includes counseling adolescents and adults, with experience supporting people through stress, anxiety, relationships, grief, life transitions, and neurodivergence. I have a Master of Arts in School Counseling from Eastern Michigan University and am continuing postgraduate study in Mindfulness-Based Practices at Bangor University in Wales.

Insurance

Parkway Practice is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. If your plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Coverage and reimbursement vary by plan, so I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to confirm your out-of-network benefits.
